Kokomo–Geoffrey L. Anderson, 70, passed away March 18, 2017 at his home with his wife at his side.

He was born December 9, 1946 in Kokomo, the son of Harry and Phyllis Anderson. Geoff served in the U.S. Navy. He lived in Kokomo his whole life.  He worked at General Motors in Kokomo for 40 years as a material handler and stock checker.  He is a member of VFW #1152 and American Legion #415.  He loved euchre, pool, and drinking.  Geoff was loved by many and had a wonderful sense of humor.  He will be greatly missed by all.

Geoff is survived by his wife, Dolly Garcia; children, Char Cowden of Florida, David Anderson of Kokomo, Elizabeth Fink of Flora, and Abigail Anderson of Galveston; step-daughters, Stephanie Green of Florida, Wendy Wheeler of Noblesville, and Monique Brabbs of Peru; step-father, Richard Dutton, I; 15 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Richard Dutton, II, Lisa Dutton, both of Florida; cousin, Terry Wagner of Lincoln; two dogs, Sophie and Leo; and many friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at VFW #1152, 920 N. Washington St., Kokomo, IN  46901, with a dinner to follow.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the National Kidney Foundation.

    In the many years I got to know you, I seen how you cared and how a father should be. I seen how much you loved my Mom and how much she loved you. I even seen how much Sophie and Leo loved you…even they knew you had a heart of gold. You were always loved and had much more love to give…always caring til your last day….Love ya…Always in our hearts…
